தமிழக அரசு ஊழியர்கள் மற்றும் ஆசிரியர்களுக்கு 6 சதவீதம் அகவிலைப்படி உயர்த்தப்பட்டுள்ளதாக தமிழக அரசு அறிவித்துள்ளது. மத்திய அரசு ஊழியர்களுக்கு அகவிலைப்படி உயர்த்தப்பட்டதை தொடர்ந்து தமிழக அரசு ஊழியர்களுக்கும் உயர்த்தப்பட்டுள்ளது. இந்த அகவிலைப்படி ஜனவரி 1ம் தேதி முதல் கணக்கிட்டு வழங்கப்பட உள்ளது. ரூ.366 முதல் ரூ.4620 வரை அகவிலைப்படி உயர்வு கிடைக்கும். இதன் மூலம் சுமார் 18 லட்சம் தமிழக அரசு ஊழியர்கள் பயன்பெறுவார்கள்.
